Shed your skin Goodbye to all things known Life is about to begin Boy you've grown Make mistakes And place some losing bets Your heart will break But never have regrets Some devils get their wings, some angels fall The rest of us roam You can lie in your own bed within these walls But you can't go home My good friend Full of time and charm Started at the end A needle in his arm He arose A clear and brilliant mind Until his ghosts Caught him from behind Some devils get their wings, some angels fall The rest of us roam You can lie in your own bed within these walls But you can't go home Boy is back in town Welcome home signs in his name His old friends are still around But they don't look the same Take your time Do the things you love Cause even when it's on your side It's never enough Some devils get their wings, some angels fall The rest of us roam You can lie in your own bed within these walls But you can't go home You can't go home

Start Again 04:46
I walked away from everyone So we could be alone You ran away from everything So we could start again What do you want with me today I fought it off to get away Pieces of light shift and change Start again another way If you want this like you need it We can make it happen If you want this like you need it We can make it happen If you want this like you need it We can make it happen If you want this like you need it We can make it happen Somewhere out there Is a coffin for us Somewhere out there They're calling for us Somewhere out there Is a coffin for us Somewhere out there They're calling for us I want I want Out I want out

I built a plane out of stone, It doesn't fly. I always liked staying home. Home. I planted a garden of glass, It doesn't grow. Flowers weren't made to last. No. Everything is the same here everything is the same. I wrote a poem made of sand, It's never heard. The syllables sift through my hands. Everything is the same here everything is the same. Everything is the same here everything is the same. Everything is the same here everything is the same. Everything is the same here everything is the same.

I can hear everything here, The footsteps of some unknown creature, The cry of a new mother homeward bound. The rush of wind as it dances with the trees. It's all I can do not to weep. The birch trees stand tall, Slender columns amidst the green. Sentinels of this sacred ground. Time has etched her secrets on their silver white skin. It's all I can do not to sing. Here is where I come When I cannot find my home, Stuck between flight and solid ground. But oh to be the moth with her circular ascent, Instinct guides her as she rises to meet her death. They say the sun is setting, Yet it is I who move around her. She is constant, I am change. My feet on the ground, my head tilts towards the sky As the light around me begins to fade.

Rolling Home 03:44
Rolling Home, rolling home Rolling home across the sea Rolling home to old New England Rolling home dear land to thee Call all hands to man the capstan See the cable running clear Heave away and with a will boys To our homeland we will steer Rolling Home, rolling home Rolling home across the sea Rolling home to Caledonia Rolling home dear land to thee And the waves we leave behind us Seem to murmur as they flow There's a hearty welcome waiting In the land to which we go Rolling Home, rolling home Rolling home across the sea Rolling home to old New England Rolling home dear land to thee Many thousand miles behind us Many thousand miles before The ocean lifts her winds to bring us To that well remembered shore Rolling Home, rolling home Rolling home across the sea Rolling home to Caledonia Rolling home dear land to thee Rolling Home, rolling home Rolling home across the sea Rolling home to our homeland Rolling home dear land to thee

This small collection of songs was recorded in my bedroom with a mic, my guitar, my voice, and a few other bits and pieces. The collection was born out of a desire to understand h o m e - where it is, what it means, and how it feels.

I am honored to include the voices of friends from around the world on the final track of the EP. To Tom Smith, Mike McKenzie, Julia Mark, Colleen McNamara, David Latto, Camy Caillou and Evan Hamilton - thank you for lending your talent and your heart to this project!

Special thanks to Evan Hamilton, Mike McKenzie, Julia Mark and my family for their love, support and guidance.
